Ryan Scheer is co-owner of the independent film company Lucky Rabbit Films. He produced his first feature film during his senior year of high school with over sixty of his peers. After graduating high school Ryan moved to Los Angeles, California to further his film education. During his time in LA, Ryan worked as an assistant cameraman and worked under renowned producer Al Ruddy (Godfather, Million Dollar Baby). Los Angeles is where he received his knowledge, but never truly felt as if it was "home".
Ryan moved to Austin three years ago to further his pursuit of filmmaking in a more comfortable and welcoming place. He founded Lucky Rabbit Films with Andrew Johnston and they are currently in development of their first feature narrative film, based on the book Torture the Artist. Lucky Rabbit Films always has various projects in the works such as music videos, commercials and short films. Ryan prides himself in being a well-rounded filmmaker who is capable of filling any role on set.
