After high school, Danny moved up to San Francisco. While working myriad jobs to pay the bills, he saved up money to travel. Initially hoping to see Africa, his dream switched gears only a couple months before departing and he landed in the heart of Guatemala city to work with Safe Passage, a program that provides education and more to the children and families around the largest garbage dump in central America. A planned 3 month stay quickly turned into a year and a half. After teaching in a classroom there for 10 months, Danny was asked to make a couple promotional videos for the project which led him to a Documentary film being made by Greg Kwedar and Jake Hamilton. Danny became the producer of the project and moved out to Austin Texas to help with the Documentary and 2 other short films, La Pluma, the film that qualified for the Doorpost Film Project, and Guest Room, the Finalist film for the Doorpost. Danny enjoys his work with One Spark Films and hopes to continue making films that make a difference. Along with Producing, Danny is an aspiring Writer/Director and is currently working on his first feature-length script. Danny also likes playing Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 gaming system, squirrels of any type, and more recently, armadillos.
